The win ensured Nigeria of a top spot which in turn would make them be one of the seeded teams when the tournament’s draw is held next month in Egypt.
And reacting to the victory, Coach Rohr said that he was pleased with the reaction of the team after they were pegged back by the goal by Seychelles.
‘’I am very proud of my players for this victory and the way they reacted after our opponents equalized. It is a testament of their resolve to always put in their best no matter the stiff opposition they come against.
‘’Our objective was to win the game and it was soothing seeing them achieve this target and I believe that going forward, this team would do much more in the game against Egypt. All the players did well and I am happy with their attitude and this is the way to go”, added Rohr.
